Adewale Garba Williams
Painter, potter and teacher at The Lincoln Pottery
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- The Lincoln Pottery
- 1989 to 2010
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 1989 at The Lincoln Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Lincoln Pottery, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Adewale
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Adewale: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
