My trade is plumbing. I opened my own shop in 2001 in Edinburgh and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 14 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Adeline
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Adeline: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
