Coached cross country for 19 years in Brooklyn
- 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Brooklyn Riverside Youth Club
- Since 2007

I've coached cross country at Brooklyn Riverside Youth Club since 2007. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Campinas.
