Adel Abdullah Bakr

Gymnastics and fitness coach, Jeddah

🇸🇦 Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
Jeddah Community Club
1989 to 2022
English, Arabic

For 33 years I ran the gymnastics program at Jeddah Community Club in Jeddah. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Adel

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Adel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
