Achieng Salim
Writer focused on poetry, Dodoma
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
- Dodoma Times
- Since 1981
- English
I write poetry. My work has appeared in Dodoma Times and a few places that have long since closed.
I run a small writing group that meets every second Thursday. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Achieng
Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
What gifts mean to Achieng: A gift would give me a bit more time to write instead of taking on extra work.
