Achieng Juma
Youth cycling coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Kisumu Sports Club
- 1999 to 2020
- English
I coached cycling at Kisumu Sports Club from 1999 to 2020. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
More about Achieng
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Achieng: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
