28 years teaching history in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Silverlake Secondary School

I teach history at Silverlake Secondary School in Nairobi since 1986. Most days I teach teenagers, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Achieng
If you were in my teenagers class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
