Abubakar Usman Afolabi
26 years teaching French in Zaria
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- 2002 to 2010
- English
For eight years I was the French teacher at Zaria Secondary School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Abubakar
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

What gifts mean to Abubakar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
