Abubakar Nwankwo
Violin and folk music teacher
- 🇳🇬 Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Willow Creek Music School
- 1989 to 2020
- English, Igbo
I play violin and folk music. I started in 1989 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Abubakar: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
