For eleven years I was the art teacher at Kano Girls' School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
More about Abubakar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Abubakar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
