Abubakar Ebuka Okafor
Leadership mentor, Ibadan
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Crescent Youth Network
- Since 1995
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,800 people through Crescent Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I watch every football match going.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Abubakar
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Abubakar: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
