Abubakar Dayo Okonkwo
Physics and drama teacher, Awka
- 🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
- Since 1989
- English, Hausa
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Abubakar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

you probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2005. I remember you. Greetings from El Paso.
