Abubakar Dayo Ekwueme

Coached cycling for ten years in Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Redwood Boxing Gym
  • 2015 to 2025
  • English, Yoruba
I coached cycling at Lagos Redwood Boxing Gym from 2015 to 2025. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Abubakar

If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
