Abubakar Babatunde Aliyu
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Band
- 1996 to 2006
- English, Yoruba
I've played traditional drumming from 1996 to 2006, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
