Abril R. Duarte
Retired environmental science teacher from Hope Academy
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Hope Academy
- 1992 to 2024
- Spanish
For 32 years I was the environmental science teacher at Hope Academy. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Abril
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.

What gifts mean to Abril: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2015 at Hope Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
