For 25 years I was the agriculture teacher at Ashford Secondary School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Abril
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Abril: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
