Abril P. Ríos
Social studies teacher at Oakland Public School, 1992 to 2013
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- 1992 to 2013
- English, Spanish
For 21 years I was the social studies teacher at Oakland Public School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
