Abril Guerrero
English literature and history teacher, Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Academy
- 2012 to 2022
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Abril
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I failed English literature twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from New Delhi.

You taught me English literature in 2025 at Los Angeles Academy. I still remember the long bus ride home.
