Abril G. Mendoza
38 years teaching art in Iztapalapa
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Ashford Academy
- Since 1983
- English, Spanish
For 43 years I have been the art teacher at Ashford Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Abril
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Abril: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
