Abril C. Velasco

Helping people break into first-generation students

  • 🇲🇽 Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico
  • Veracruz Mentoring Circle
  • 1986 to 2020
  • Spanish
For 34 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and trades. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
