For twelve years I was the mathematics teacher at Ciudad de México Secondary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Abril
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
