I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Abigail
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Abigail: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
