Abigail McDonald
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Liverpool, England, United Kingdom
- Old St. Joseph's Shop
- 1992 to 2011
- English
I've worked in weaving from 1992 to 2011. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 720 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Abigail: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
