I taught music at Bayview Grammar School in Scranton from 1989 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
