Abena Akua Wiredu
Painter, potter and teacher at Jacaranda Gallery
- 🇬🇭 Madina, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Jacaranda Gallery
- 2004 to 2015
- English, Twi
I work mostly in digital art, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 2004 at Jacaranda Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Jacaranda Gallery, which keeps me honest.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Abena
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Abena: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
