I teach statistics at Willow Creek Middle School in Accra since 1985. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Over the years I've had 1,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Abena
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Abena: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
