I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1995 at Bayview Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Abdullah
I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Abdullah: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
