For 27 years I was the home economics teacher at Shubra Boys' School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Abdullah: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
