Abdullah Ismail
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇸🇦 Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- 1979 to 1988
- English, Arabic
I got into woodcarving as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at The Northside Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
I'm still learning every day.

I bought one of your pieces in 2002. It's still the first thing I see in the morning! Thank you again.
