I've been a nurse for 24 years, most of them in dialysis at Heritage Maternity Hospital in Cairo. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
