Abdul Rafiq Miah
13 years teaching Spanish in Gazipur
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Meadowbank Academy
- Since 2008
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Abdul: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me Spanish in 2010 at Meadowbank Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Thank you again.
