I've coached softball at Silverlake Football Club since 2010. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Aarti
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Aarti: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
