Aarti D. Awasthi
Choir director and singer
- 🇮🇳 Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Lucknow Choir
- Since 2001
- English, French
I play tabla and choir direction. I started in 2001 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Aarti
I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.
