I've been a nurse for 27 years, most of them in intensive care at Good Shepherd Community Hospital in Tiruchirappalli. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
