Aarón T. Lara
Helping people break into engineering
- 🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia
- Orchid Foundation
- 1983 to 2018
- Spanish
For 35 years I've mentored people in engineering and small business. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Aarón
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
