Aarón S. Cabrera
Shoemaking, done properly
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Workshop
- Since 2010
- English, Spanish
I've worked in shoemaking since 2010. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 300 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Aarón
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
