Aarón N. Valdez
Netball and fitness coach, San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Boxing Gym
- 1990 to 2024
- English, Spanish
I coached netball at San Francisco Boxing Gym from 1990 to 2024. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Aarón
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Aarón: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
