Helping people break into software
- 🇺🇸 Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,600 people through Andes Association.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Aaron: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first software job in 2009. I still have your notes! Greetings from Accra.
