Aaron C. Rios
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
- Old El Paso Works
- 2011 to 2021
- English
I've worked in weaving from 2011 to 2021. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 430 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Aaron
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Aaron: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
