I've volunteered with Mount Pleasant Mutual Aid from 2001 to 2023. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I try to remember everyone's name. Small habits keep a team together.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Aarav
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Aarav: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
