Aarati Indira Shrestha

35 years teaching social studies in Kathmandu

  • 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
  • Kathmandu Grammar School
  • Since 1978
  • English, Nepali, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

You taught me social studies in 2018 at Kathmandu Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
