For 39 years I've run the cricket program at San Diego Athletic Club in San Diego. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Aaliyah
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Aaliyah: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
