For 17 years I have been the chemistry teacher at St. Louis Boys' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
