I teach religious studies and mathematics at San Francisco Middle School, San Francisco. I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Aaliyah
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Aaliyah: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
