I coached dance at Ottawa Athletic Club from 1985 to 1997. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
