Zoey's emergency hernia repair can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled emergency hernia repair in September is out of reach without help covering $4,650 of the cost.

Zoey was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in July. The surgeon at Saint Matthew Hospital recommended emergency hernia repair, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $4,650 short.
my mother has been in and out of Saint Matthew Hospital since July. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Zoey struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Zoey won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $4,650 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $250
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $4,250
• Post-operative medication: $150
Thank you so much.

Rooting for you, Tammy. Wishing Zoey a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Wishing you peace. Get well soon. After 15 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
Take care, Tammy. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money!
Wishing Zoey a smooth procedure and a full recovery. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
