Zoey's acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment fund
Zoey is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In November I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. My oncology team at Sacramento Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in March. I was told to expect about 5 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 52, I worked as a farmer until November, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Sacramento Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $430
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,600
• Transport to Sacramento Regional Medical Center: $720
Thanks for reading all this.

So sorry you're going through this, Zoey. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Sent it to 13 people at work. God bless.
Sending good thoughts, Zoey. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
keep going, Zoey. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Blessings.
