An adapted tricycle would give Zoey independence - we're $6,150 away.

Sydney
Zoey lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Sydney Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,150. Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Zoey could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $6,150 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $170 • adapted tricycle: $5,750 • Delivery and set-up: $230 Thank you for reading my story. - Anthony

Updates from Anthony

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($1,807 in total) the plan for adapted tricycle is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Small update. $708 so far, I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.

  3. Small update. $1,357 so far, we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

Keep going, Anthony. Hope the doctors have good news. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out.

              • Stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Santos.
