Zinhle's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund
Zinhle is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Zinhle was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in March. The oncology team at Sandton Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Zinhle is 32, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Sandton Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $920
• Scans and lab work: $430
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $145
