Ziggy, Henry's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,950.

Ziggy is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 26 July we rushed to Christchurch Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,950.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $310 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Christchurch Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery.

• Hospitalization (2 nights): $610
• Medication and follow-up visits: $280
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $110
